Tourist transport is a specifically regulated activity
Egyptian tourism law treats the organised transport of tourists as a tourism activity. Companies, vehicles and drivers must meet the requirements applying to their operation.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities provides separate procedures for licensing tourist vehicles, technical and tourism inspections and driver registration.
